While working on a bachelor’s in mathematics, Brian wrote columns for the university paper. Post-graduation, he put his math degree to good use by immediately moving to Japan to teach English for over a decade. After toiling to get his master’s degree in higher education, he decided to take a job selling darts. Yes, darts. Like at a bar, darts.
